Global Communities students

course, students were allowed and encouraged to eat their creations afterwards.

Community Dinner
Global Communities works in group exercises to think about ways of solving problems within
international communities. After each group performs a skit to show and solve various problems that could
arise, residents enjoy a delicious lasagna dinner.
Pumpkin Picking at
Sharp's Farm
Global Communities goes to Sharp's Farm to spend an October
afternoon pumpkin picking.
Trip to Amish Pennsylvania
Global Communities travels to Pennsylvania to visit the Amish and learn more about their culture first hand.

Day, Spring 2007
Maryland Day was held on April 18, 2007. This
event brings together more than 400 activities, demonstrations,
exhibits, performances and other events offering the community
a glimpse into what makes Maryland a special place. This
year Global Communities table was located at the "Global
Village."
Notation
Celebration, Spring 2007
At the end of spring semester each year, Global Communities
celebrates students who have completed the programming,
earning notations on their transcript, as well as exchange
students who have participated in the program

At the beginning of the year, there are a number of opening
events for Global Communities. One of these is a trip
to DC for new students.
